Talk:Rex Goudie
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I want REX GOUDIE to win! He's ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! GO REX! -Courtney Gillard, Roddickton,NL
Dear lord, does anybody realize this guy cannot sing at all? - Andrew Power, Conception Bay South, NL
Can anyone say marketing scheme? Maybe people should start recognizing REAL Newfoundland musical talent. There are a lot of great rock bands in this province that no one knows about. - Crotcher, Port aux Basques, Newfoundland.
Congratulations Rex on doing so well on Idol. Don't mind the couple of posters on here who said that you can't sing. You're a good singer. And yes we know that there are other rock bands in Newfoundland who can sing too that nobody knows about. Maybe they should think about auditioning for Idol like you, Jason, and Jenny did to get their names out there because there's not many record companies that come here to scout talent; and CI is a great vehicle for free publicity.
Forgot to add in my last post come and visit me at my webpage www.greeleystreet.com. Lots of information about Jason and Rex there.
Made a few small edits for clarity, especially here: ...been touted by some of the judges for his stiffness while on stage, his injury has caused him limited motion on both knees. Changed this to been criticised by some of the judges for his stiffness while on stage, an injury has caused him limited motion on both knees. His injury makes it sound as though there should be an explanation somewhere in the article, and touted doesn't make sense in context. Tekenduis 21:55, 18 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Cdhighnotes.png
Image:Cdhighnotes.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:33, 2 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Autographs
I have never met Rex Goudie but someone once told me that he cannot sign autographs without written permission (I don't know from who). Is this true? 205.251.54.235 02:03, 11 August 2007 (UTC)
- I doubt it...I mean really, he can use all the fans he can get at this point, so a silly rule like that would not be too helpful. Vik
