Rewari District

Rewari (Hindi: रेवाडी़) is one of the 19 districts of Haryana state, India. It is located in southern Haryana. It is around 80 km away from the capital city of India, New Delhi.
The Rewari city has historical importance. This city produced great freedom fighters. Rao Tula Ram was the most famous freedom fighter from Rewari.
Rewari is famous for its metal work. Particularly Brass work. If anybody needs best brass work in the world, Rewari is the place for him/her. The main markets of Rewari have shops which sell brass utencils and artistic work of brass. Along with Moradabad, Rewari is the brass hub of India.
Rewari has kept the art of Tilledar Jutti alive. People from various parts come here to purchase tilledar Juttis.
Although all of the festivals are celebrated here with great enthusiasm, the festival of Teej has a special place in the heart of citizens of Rewari. The most colourful Teej is witnessed by this Indian city, every year.
Rewari has 3 Tehsil - Rewari, Bawal and Kosli. These are three main town of Rewari district. Tumbaheri is one of very small village in Rewari district. it is in border of Rewari and Jhajar district of haryana state.
