[edit] Revolution music canada
The result of the debate about this article was delete. Although it was a 5-2 vote (a firm delete), it was actually a lot closer. You also demonstrated good faith by improving the article to Wikipedia standards, and stating that you'd abide by the results of the deletion process. Note that this does not imply that this topic will never meet the criteria for inclusion in Wikipedia, only that it fails to do so now; it may merit an article in the future.

- Sorry for the delay in replying to your message...
- You can email me at admin@revolutionmusic.net because I am not too positive how to check messages on wiki.
- You can check messages in a number of ways:
- A user may leave a message on your talk page, as I'm doing now, in which case the next time you log on, you'll see a notice indicating you have new messages.
- If you leave a message on my talk page, and I reply there, you won't receive notification. In this case, you should add my talk page to your watchlist (click on watch on the top bar). When you check your watchlist (by clicking my watchlist), my talk page will show up if I, or anyone else, have left a message there. This functions just like watching an article.

- I was just wondering if this would have made a difference on whether the Revolution Music Canada article was deleted.
- Probably not. The information you gave highlights why that artist may merit inclusion, though. In essence, what you need to do is demonstrate why the company itself merits inclusion - how it differentiates itself from the myriad other small labels, innovative strategies it employs etc. By the way, the article about Ghetto Concept is on the right track...
- You should also keep in mind that writing about yourself, or a company you run, is looked upon unfavourably by some. Even more so for starting such an article. I don't particularly care, but some Wikipedians do, so I thought I'd mention it.
- Anyway, don't be discouraged. I'll try to lend whatever assistance you need. Mindmatrix 19:57, 23 December 2005 (UTC)
