[edit] "Santo Tomás"

No Spanish navigator would have named an island "Santo Tomé". So I corrected the former name of Socorro Island. Its correct name in Spanish would be "Santo Tomás". A Portuguese navigator would have named an island "São Tomé". But in this case an explanation would be needed regarding the nationality of the name-giving captain. At any rate "Santo Tomé" is a linguistic oxymoron.
