A revolving lineup is a group which is subject to change at any moment. For example, a school may have a revolving lineup of administrators or a band may have a revolving lineup of vocalists.

Many times, bands will have a revolving lineup of some sort. A band may have a revolving lineup of musicians, such as Black Sabbath's singer rotations in the post-Ozzy Osbourne period. Another example might be many rap groups, who have a revolving lineup of producers to undercut cost.

If a state has a history of electing families or alternating between two parties, it could be said they had a revolving lineup of polictitions.
