[edit] Community

The crowd that attends revolution is not one that could be easily generalized. Encompassing all social groups, everyone feels welcome, and will not be judged on any basis. People of all religious backgrounds, races, ages, sexual orientations, financial situations are graciously invited. Much of what happens at Revolution takes place outside of worship, which is Sunday at 11:00 am. Many small groups meet throughout the week to do a variety of things, including reading books, participating in singles or women's groups, offer after-school tutoring to a local Hispanic church, or plan fundraisers and other various means of supporting Revolution's international initiatives in Guatemala and Ecuador.

Note that this church is more of a gathering of Christians who are dissatisfied with what is considered normal religion. The pastors are part-time and rely heavily on the congregation to pastor one another while the pastors finish school, work other jobs, fund raise, and do other activist activities.

[edit] N2N

Neighbor to Neighbor is a ministry of Revolution that provides meals, hygiene needs, and other supplies to the homeless and nearly-homeless people of Westport. All guests are treated with total respect, and usually number about 150 per day, coming for breakfast and lunch.
