Revenge (Madonna song)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Revenge is an unreleased demo recorded by Madonna during the Ray of Light recording sessions. According to the CMRRA, Madonna, Rick Nowels and Greg Fitzgerald wrote the song, though the producer is still unknown.
This song was mentioned in her 2005 Attitude Magazine interview: "The others are demos (referring to Gone Gone Gone, Like a Flower, and Revenge) I wrote with Rick Nowels during the Ray of Light period and I never finished them."
The song remains unreleased but it has leaked onto the Internet and can be downloaded in mp3 format.
In the summer of 2002, a handful of radio stations in Florida played the track, assuming it was actually her Bond theme for Die Another Day, which had been expected to drop relatively soon.
In 2005's fall after the release of Madonna's then forthcoming album Confessions on a Dancefloor the track flew up on the web stated in some sites as the "Hung Up-New Single 2005" and some people confused it with the Hung Up single.
