Rev. Dr. Jacqueline Grace Reeves

Rev. Dr. Jacqueline Grace Reeves (1937 - ) African-American Educator and Minister.
Rev. Dr. Reeves is an educator with 40 years of experience as a teacher, counselor, team, leader, and curriculum developer in the New Jersey Public School System. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Cheyney University of Pennsylvania, Cheyney, Pennsylvania, a Masters of Arts Degree from Kean College of New Jersey, and a Doctor of Education Degree from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. Rev. Dr. Reeves has also been elected and inducted into “Who’s Who Among Teachers in America" for 2005 and again in 2006. Currently Dr. Reeves is a Professor of Education at William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey.
Upon completion of all ministerial course requirements, Rev. Dr. Reeves was ordained Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church (A.M.E) under the late Bishop John Douglas Bright on April 17, 1970. Rev. Dr. Reeves held the position of Director of Christian Education for 12 years for the New York Annual Conference and is the former Principal of the St. James Preparatory School in Newark, New Jersey, under the sponsorship of St. James A.M.E. Church.
In 1982, Rev. Dr. Reeves founded Spoken Word Ministries, Inc., which is an intercessory prayer ministry, aimed at winning souls for Christ, training and equipping the Body of Christ with a firm prayer foundation. In addition, she counsels and ministers to physically and sexually abused children. She is a noted speaker for conferences, retreats, and workshops throughout the U.S., and is well known for her missionary travels to South Africa, Bermuda, and Argentina. Rev. Dr. Reeves is also a writer of litany and devotional materials.
