Jack Frost 2: Revenge of the Mutant Killer Snowman is the 2000 sequel to the 1996 horror/comedy film Jack Frost.

[edit] Plot summary

At the end of the first film, Sheriff Sam Tiler of the small town of Snomonton had defeated Jack Frost by pushing him into a truck full of antifreeze, melting Jack. Now contained as a liquid in a small container, Jack was buried in the ground.

A group of scientists attempt to resurrect Jack, but to no avail. Jack is finally brought back to life when a cup of cold coffee, left behind by one of the scientists, falls into the container where Jack's remains reside.

It appears that during the fight at the end of the first film, Jack Frost's DNA mixed with Tiler's, and now the two are psychically linked. This link allows Jack to sense where Tiler is and what he is doing, leading Jack to track down the sheriff's family and friends, who are vacationing on a remote island. The family attempts to destroy Jack again with antifreeze, but Jack apparently now has the ability to heal himself. After the battle, Jack dispenses a snowball from his mouth, which turns out to be an egg that hatches a miniature snowman with Jack's personality.

Jack then begins to kill many patrons and residents of the island, including a group of supermodels in a photo shoot on the beach and several tourists. The climax of the film pits Tiler against Jack in a final battle. Tiler realizes that Jack is allergic to bananas (because he himself is allergic to bananas), and destroys him by shooting him with a banana attached to an arrow.
