Heinrich LXII ? That would be the 62nd, IMHO. Certainly, 17th is meant, or XVII?

The Reuss's number in a bizarre manner. They're all named Henry, so non-ruling male members of the house are also numbered. Basically, all members of the younger branch born in a particular century are numbered sequentially in order of birth, and then it starts over again. john 20:30, 29 Feb 2004 (UTC)
In one line, they start again when they get to 100; in the other, they start again at the start of every century. Maproom (talk) 01:02, 15 January 2008 (UTC)

--- Why do Reuss Senior Line and Reuss Junior Line redirect here? Känsterle 14:25, 25 November 2005 (UTC)

I agree, those should be their own articles. --Chl 14:47, 25 November 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Vogtland

"the name of Vogtland .. has remained to this day a geographical summary for Reuss". This is misleading, even allowing for the fact that its "this day" is over a century ago. The name "Vogtland" is usually applied to the district centred on Plauen and Auerbach, which had become part of Albertine Saxony by the end of the Thirty Years' War in 1648. [edit] 1927 is in the past

"After the death of Henry XXIV, the last scion of the younger line, the Principalities of Reuss-Greiz and Reuss-Schleitz will be united." As the article says, he died in 1927, and Reuss ceased to exist in 1920. I have deleted this sentence. Maproom (talk) 01:02, 15 January 2008 (UTC)
