[edit] Torrey and Finney

Torrey's title on how to promote a revival is reminiscent of the approach of Charles Grandison Finney. Is there evidence that Torrey was influenced by Finney's views on Revivals of Religion ? DFH 11:57, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Adding belief info while keeping NPOV?

Not sure on the Finney influence...would have to do some serious reading. Another question...take a look at [1] which I've included as a reference...they nicely include some of Torrey's doctrinal beliefs, and to me the way they word it keeps NPOV because it's reporting about the subject of the article. Do you think wording like that would be appropriate on Wikipedia? Akradecki 16:20, 29 July 2006 (UTC)
