Reuben Wu

Reuben Wu[1] was born in 1977 in Liverpool, England and is a member of British electropop band Ladytron.

Wu trained in Industrial Design at Sheffield Hallam University, before becoming a successful designer in a consultancy until finally going full time with the band.

He met Daniel Hunt in Liverpool in 1994 and formed Ladytron with him in 1999 with Mira Aroyo and Helen Marnie.

His role in the band is producer, songwriter, remixer and DJ and set up the Liverpool club night Evol and bar Korova with Hunt in 2006.

Wu plays a Korg MS2000B, Moog Voyager and Korg MS10 on stage which gives the band its characteristic live sound. He is also a classically-trained violinist and an illustrator (who drew the covers of Ladytron's first album 604 and the first singles)

He briefly went on tour with Electric Six in 2005 as a stand in keyboard player.
