Image:Baseball (ball) closeup.jpg Greetings fellow WikiProject Baseball member! Just a quick note: there is now an article improvement drive just for baseball-related articles at WP:BBAID. Please take a look and vote on an article or add one of your own. Once an article has been agreed upon, feel free to stop by and lend a hand in getting it to featured article status. Hope you can participate! —Wknight94 (talk) 01:42, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your repeatitous taggings as invalid fair-use on the image of Media Control

This is taken from Germany's wikipedia [1] and it is available in creative commons. I actually explained this in the discussion-page of Media Control, but seems like you have not come across that.--Harout72 (talk) 23:47, 25 January 2008 (UTC)

You still need to tag it properly. You currently have it tagged as a wikipedia screenshot, which it's not. If it's a creative commons image, you need to tag it as such. Retropunk (talk) 05:19, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] {{template:pd-self}} tag

Most or all of these are photographs that I have taken of sculpture and have both the tags {{template:Non-free 3D art}} and {{template:pd-self}} . I interprete this as {{template:Non-free 3D art}} applying to the sculpture and {{template:pd-self}} applying to my photograph. Wmpearl (talk) 02:36, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

The problem is those images are considered as derivate works, and unless you're given authorization to make those copies, I'm not certain if you can even use {{template:pd-self}}. Retropunk (talk) 04:34, 28 January 2008 (UTC)

Collaboration of the Month

Magic Johnson has been chosen to be our very first Collaboration of the Month article. Although this is article is already a Good Article, it still can be improved. The goal is to improve this article by the end of May so that it can be nominated for Featured Article status. In particular, free-use images should be found for the article, all Manual of Style guidelines should be followed, and a neutral point of view should be maintained throughout the article. If there is anything you can do to improve the article, then please help out.
