[edit] Back-kick initiated two-speed internal hubs

I know that in about the 1960's some bicycles had two-speed internal hubs which were designed so some sort of partial-back-pedalling would switch the gears. One should not confuse those with this mechanism. I don't think I could possibly pedal backwards to go up hill. Eeps.--SportWagon 17:09, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
