Retusidae is a family of small sea snails, marine opisthobranch gastropod mollusks. They are headshield slugs, in the suborder Cephalaspidea.

The shells are small and cylindrical, with a spire that may vary from slightly elevated to sunken. The columella is smooth or with a weak plait. The surface is smooth or with weak spiral striations.
There is no gill, radula or operculum.
