[edit] Plot Summary

Gabe goes to visit his Uncle Ben who is an archaeologist, and his bragging cousin Sari. Gabe's uncle finds the tomb of King Tuts's cousin. A female reporter, who was revealed to be an Egyptian queen who kept herself immortal with a scarab beetle necklace that the mummy wants destroyed, comes to document the event. Gabe, along with Sari, are able to defeat the mummy and the Egyptian queen when the scarab pendent is destroyed and the woman, named Nila, turns into a scarab and crawls away. At night Gabe goes to bed, with his cousin Sari teasing him that the scarab is in his bed, but he ignores her. However when he gets in bed, he says, "Ouch"; it is unknown what happened but it can be assumed that he was bit by the scarab (which, in ancient Egypt, was thought to bring about instant death) or pricked himself on something.
