RetroGames was a store for TurboGrafx / PC-Engine systems and games formed in 1997 by Robert Frasure. It later became the only known repair company for TurboGrafx and Duo systems in North America. It also was the only shop to perform PCE-to-TurboGrafx conversions. It ceased operation in 2003 when the market faded. It was the first site on the internet to use the term and also the basis for many other copies. The original site was located on GeoCities.

RetroGames is an emulation news web-site formed in 1998 by Atila Mert. The site is home to a number of emulators and also projects, the site is a division of ZTNET.

Retrogames.co.uk established by Jason Moore in 1994, Retrogames produced the first fanzine for collectors of videogames in the UK, which ran for 23 issues between 1995 and 2004. The magazine focused on rare games and discovered several exciting prototypes including Mail Plane on the Vectrex and Faceball on the Virtual Boy. Today Retrogames is the biggest seller of classic videogames in the world, with over 10,000 games on over 50 formats for sale.
