Rethymno BC

AGO Rethymno BC (Greek: Αθλητικός Γυμναστικός Όμιλος Ρεθύμνου abbreviated ΑΓΟ Ρεθύμνου - AGO Rethymno) is a Greek basketball club that was founded in Rethymno, Crete in 1986. The parent athletic club was founded in 1965.

To date, the team's greatest accomplishment occurred during the 2006-2007 season when the team qualified to play in the final of The Greek Championship Cup, after defeating A1 Greek League teams PAOK BC, Panionios BC, Sporting BC, and Kolossos Rodou BC.

AGO Rethymno was defeated by Euroleague powerhouse Panathinaikos BC by a score of 87-48 in the championship game of the 2007 Greek Cup, but nevertheless AGO Rethymno secured a new strong place in the Greek pro leagues after the team's showing.
