Dear readers (and Aaron S),

This has the makings of a great entry. I ejoyed the entry, and the opportunity to expand it.

I'd like to move, remove, or revise your critique of Residential Development, as it is a critique of just one design philosophy. Though I'm a fan of some aspects of New Urbanism (Andres is a professional friend), one of my homes is at the end of a cul-de-sac. Your critique does nothing to explain, especially to average readers, what you object to. Nor do you praise the many delights of "soulless" 1980s land plans (and they are many).

I would enjoy amplifying your comments, assuming you are open.

Please do! Feel free to make any changes that you want. Thanks for your comments. --AaronS 29 June 2005 20:42 (UTC)
