Diner Dash 2: Restaurant Rescue is the second installment to the popular game series Diner Dash preceded by Diner Dash and followed by Diner Dash: Flo On The Go and Diner Dash: Hometown Hero. It is published by PlayFirst, like all other Diner Dash series.

Flo, a successful waitress, has just caught the local news that Mr Big, a greedy landlord, is going to destroy Darla's Cafe. She runs to help Darla and her friends, as they attempt to fight the bulldozers. Flo arrives in the nick of time to save them, and Mr Big gives them a chance to earn the money needed to pay him back, thus Flo begins to help her friends earn the needed money.

In this game, Flo has to help all the popular restaurants owned by her friends to gain enough popularity to keep them in business, or else they will face demolition to make way for a construction of a large restaurant.

Gamezebo, the leading editorial outlet for casual games, reviewed Diner Dash 2 positively stating that it was a "pulse-pounding quick jolt of excitement."[1] The game won a Zeeby award for Best Arcade & Action Game of 2006.[2]
