[edit] The abuse to which Strider12 has been subjected

One of the certifying editors for this RfC is мirаgeinred سَراب ٭, who recently wrote this comment on Strider12's Talk page. In that comment he accused Strider12 of saying, "gays are God's abominations who will burn in hell one day."

I believe that мirаgeinred سَراب ٭ just made that up. Such a remark would be completely out of character for Strider12, and she certainly has not made such a remark on her Talk page. If he made it up then it was an uncivil, dishonest, personal attack.

He also accused her of "slander," an accusation that is equally without basis, and that is also a violation of the prohibition on legal threats.

What is remarkable is that, even in the face of such abuse, Strider12 has remained admirably calm and uniformly civil. NCdave (talk) 13:07, 26 February 2008 (UTC)

P.S. -- Note that мirаgeinred سَراب ٭ certified that he "tried and failed to resolve the dispute." If this kind of abuse is what he calls trying to settle an argument, I dread to think how he must behave when he's trying to pick a fight! NCdave (talk) 13:12, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
It's a "she" and try not to take my quotes out of my context next time, thanks. мirаgeinred سَراب ٭ (talk) 22:22, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
By the way, I started the RfC for abortion and mental health. I suggest you do some research before making baseless accusations. (She's picking a fight!) мirаgeinred سَراب ٭ (talk) 22:24, 26 February 2008 (UTC)
мirаgeinred سَراب ٭, I did not take it out of context. Here is your entire comment:
Just quote James Dobson to verify your claim that gays are God's abominations who will burn in hell one day. Before you slander other editors I suggest not making claims that are more reflective of your tendentious editing and would you please have some decency to refrain from disputed sources. If David Reardon's claims are right, try finding other sources that resonates with his findings. мirаgeinred سَراب ٭ (talk) 20:50, 20 February 2008 (UTC)
мirаgeinred سَراب ٭, your major offense was your false statement that Strider12 had claimed "that gays are God's abominations who will burn in hell one day." Neither she nor Dr. Dobson has ever said that. You just made it up. You attributed to her to a "claim" that she had never made:
"...your claim that gays are God's abominations who will burn in hell one day."
I also suspect that you were untruthful when you certified that you "tried and failed to resolve the dispute" with Strider12. You've not tried to resolve the dispute, you've just tried to fan the flames.
As for the "context" (that you accuse me of taking it out of), the context is that Strider12 had said nothing at all about gays. You didn't just stretch or interpret or twist what she said, you just made that supposed claim of hers up, of whole cloth, to smear her.
The decent thing for you to do at this point is to withdraw your certification of MastCell's complaint against Strider12, and apologize to her. Will you please do the decent thing? NCdave (talk) 04:16, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
I already answered all your questions. I've decided not to post any more responses per WP:SHUN. I've collapsed them so that I don't have to see them again. Any additional posts will be hidden. мirаgeinred سَراب ٭ (talk) 04:21, 27 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] re: Outside view by Sbowers3

(Comment by IronAngelAlice moved from project page by Sbowers3. I think protocol says there was the wrong place.)

Sbowers, on a different page you said that you would like more information regarding the following:
  • You provided no diffs for your assertion "Continuously reinserts the same disputed material, often 2-3 times a day".
  • You provided but a single diff for "Continuously denigrates the New York Times and PBS" - one diff doesn't show "continuously".
Still, I wish that every RFC provided as many diffs as you did.
Today's diff on the reinsertion of disputed material is here:
Diffs for the reinsertion of disputed material in the past week or so is here:
Today's diff on the denigration of the NY Times is below. (You may need to know a little about the content and context to understand why it is denigrating. Please see explanations in the talk page):
Diffs on the denigration of the NY Times this week are here:
