[edit] Reopened
I've re-opened this. Note that a few comments were made and reverted after it was closed the first time. I have not restored these, but perhaps whoever commented wants to, or wants to make a new comment in light of recent events. Friday (talk) 01:07, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
- Anyone thinks we shouldn't re-use this, feel free to fix it however you see fit. I agree that the issue we should look at is Betacommand's blocking behavior in general. The username blocks are a subset of this. Friday (talk) 14:58, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
- I think I've fixed it up now to take into account all the blockings RyanPostlethwaiteSee the mess I've created or let's have banter 15:01, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
Does anyone have the link to the issue (on WP:AN or WP:AN/I) about Betacommand allegedly running a deletion bot a few months ago? (I remember he responded that he'd hacked Firefox to allow one button deletions). It may not (or may) be relevant to this RFC, but I cannot find it for reference. - Is this the link? I think it is appropriate as he is obviously running a bot/script now to come up with these username report RyanPostlethwaiteSee the mess I've created or let's have banter 15:59, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
