Wikipedia talk:Requests for checkuser/Case/Cumulus Clouds

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

  • Please do so in the appropriate venue, not where ever you please. You'll note I moved my comments too. As for "knock it off", again, stop being so bossy. You don't run Wikipedia individually, we all do. If you have a problem with policy, please bring it up at WP:TALK. — BQZip01 — talk 05:01, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
  • I am within my rights to object to a checkuser filed by you against me without evidence or purpose. I am free to do that on the project page and it is in very poor faith that you would remove these comments. Cumulus Clouds (talk) 05:07, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
  • I never removed them at all. I moved them to here...the appropriate place. By definition, you can't "object" to a checkuser. — BQZip01 — talk 05:18, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
  • My comments are now taken completely out of context and I strenuously object to CC's automatic reversions. — BQZip01 — talk 05:12, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

There is plenty of evidence that someone is causing problems on that page. Seeing as you and TomPhan are the most likely candidates, it is pretty reasonable to assume it is one of you. I have tried numerous venues. This is a last resort. You have a better idea? — BQZip01 — talk 05:12, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

Knock it off. This isn't a playground. If I brought this whole saga to AN/I right now, a probation proposal would probably go over pretty well. Avruch T 05:10, 24 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Let's talk about this for a minute

  1. RFCU only nails people who are abusing IPs
  2. If this isn't CC, then he has absolutely nothing to be worried about and nothing will happen. If I am fingerprinted at the police station, I have nothing to fear, because I have never done anything illegal (not even a parking or speeding ticket). IMHO, there is no downside to being accused in a checkuser if you have done nothing. Feel free to add me to every open checkuser. I won't even give it a second look.
  3. Had the person making these edits simply left an article alone instead of editing, this wouldn't even be necessary.
  4. Had Lawrence Cohen realized all of the above, notifying anyone wouldn't have been necessary. He insists on making things worse and has a personal ax to grind against me (see the edits I pointed out on the main page). It is his intent to stir up trouble if it "hurts" me. — BQZip01 — talk 05:27, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
