[edit] Second week's workshopping?

This case opened on 23 November 2006. By the 29th, the workshop contained 13 findings and 8 remedies, and on that day Fred Bauder copied word-for-word to the proposed decision 12 of the 13 findings, and with a few changes, 6 of the 8 remedies. He added one new finding and one new remedy, and Jayjg later proposed an alternative remedy, bringing the proposed decision to its current total of 13 findings and 8 remedies.

In contrast, the workshop now stands at 25 findings and 14 remedies. Of the 12 findings and 6 remedies added since Fred's initiative, none have reached the proposed decision, and none have received comment from any arbitrator other than Fred. Today is nearly two weeks since the case opened, but only the first week of workshopping is represented here. I hope the second week will also be addressed. Tim Smith 01:34, 7 December 2006 (UTC)

The workshop is intended as a way for the arbitrators to get feedback about the case. Only the arbitrators decide which proposals, if any, get moved to the proposed decision page. The arbitrators are under no obligation to consider, adopt, or comment on any particular proposal, although they often at least comment. The current proposed decision page may represent the final outcome of the case. Thatcher131 03:49, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
Understood, but I hope the arbitrators will carefully consider the findings and remedies proposed following Fred's copy-over on the 29th, as well as the comments made to the older proposals, many posted after some arbitrators had already voted. The current proposed decision reflects a snapshot of the workshop taken six days into the case, not the whole picture. Tim Smith 05:09, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
Well, I too hope they read as much as they can of each case but that's up to each arbitrator. Thatcher131 08:57, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
