[edit] Humorous Njyoder

I'd like to respond to Fred's description of Yoder's oppose vote at my RFA as "humorous" and as followed by other humorous oppose votes. That sounds a little like Yoder wittily set off a round of hilarity, but it wasn't exactly like that. Many people on #wikipedia, where Yoder's vote was quoted within minutes, were offended by its graphic character and the mention of rape, and asked him to remove it. Not me, I didn't much care: my only comment was a cooling-down "Kim, he's just kidding around" (visible in the log but strangely never quoted by Yoder in any of his log postings). After a few minutes of steady refusal by Yoder, User:Sj removed the vote, at the same time posting a kindly, jocular "oppose" vote of his own (which hinted at my spoof article, just as you say). So, Yoder's and Sj's, those two were the only "joke" oppose votes. Only one of them ever amused anybody. Bishonen | talk 19:41, 12 Jun 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Personal attacks

The proposed personal attack parole should explicitly include his favourite accusation, namely, that people are lying, dishonest, disingenious and so on, as well as his attempts at "humour". Axon was rather frustrated that he could not use the temporary injunction against Njyoder for an instance of being accused of being a liar, see [1], particularly [2]. And it is my distinctive impression that most people could do perfectly well without any more attempts of Njyoder humour like the one discussed above. -- AlexR 01:10, 15 Jun 2005 (UTC)
