[edit] Discussion moved from project page

Blnguyen replied to Albatross2147: Seeing as your sense of humour includes referring to people of mixed ethnic descent as mongrels (see block log), I feel that your judgment of the candidate as lacking in humour is unreliable. Blnguyen (bananabucket) 01:01, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

The following was moved from the project page. Quarl (talk) 2007-02-22 13:20Z
People in glasshouses shouldn't throw stones... as you well know bananabucket is a vulgar and sexist term in some countries but you persist in using it in your sig. In any event Wp it self does not define mongrel used in relation to a person as racist although you have chosen to regard it as such. Albatross2147 01:08, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
The cite that was given to me did not have bananabucket as an obscene anatomical term, and the only person to complain about this in the four months I've had this sig is an anon who said he was from RSA but whose IP happens to be in Turkey and had no other edits. The ~300 people who came past my arb vote page all saw it and nobody saw anything remotely questionable. Mongrel is perceived as derogatory by a large proportion of people and you chose used it while editing a biography the subject of which you obviously have negative opinions of.
