- Yes, it is off-topic, and if you were reading with the intent to understand, rather than to find a point of attack, you would have no trouble realizing that. You were the one who introduced the claim about sociologists deciding not to use the word "cult" or "sect" anymore (and may I say what an irony it is to see you blithely asserting that "sekte" does mean "cult", when that assertion prompted a deletion discussion!) As it happens, there is a big difference between sociologists deciding that they will not use the term anymore, and the Munich Lexicon of Law writing that the term has lost its legal meaning. But it is off-topic to the question of "is Jossifresco fit to be an admin?" To suggest that it is relevant suggests that it explains his double standards, and the only way it could do that is if you try to argue the ludicrous proposition that being called a "cult" is a pejorative accusation but that being called a "hate group" is not. -- Antaeus Feldspar 17:09, 15 October 2005 (UTC)
