Just in case, I'm offering an explanation of the promotion here:

The final tally was 37-10-14, which calculates to 78% support, making it a bureaucrat call. However, oppose #10 was cast by a user on their second day of editing, which is generally considered to be suspicious and subject to discounting. Discounting that vote, the tally was 37-9-14, which is 80%, which calls for promotion.

I also took into account that several oppose voters made a specific point to note "weak" oppose, and that several neutral voters noted in inclination towards support. All in all, I felt the general consensus was for promotion, and with the one vote discounted, the RfA fell within the 80% promotion standard. Essjay (TalkConnect) 19:39, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] RFA thanks from Ezeu

I thank everyone for their votes and comments. Messaging everyone individually is getting a bit tedious, and I'm starting to feel like a spammer, and I suppose most of you still have this page on your watchlists. --Ezeu 15:03, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
