Please note: This is only a demo version to flesh out ideas for establishing a stable article.
Please comment on each of the following areas:
[edit] Mandatory areas
There are areas that must be correct before the article can even be considered to be a stable article.
- Structural
As with most articles of a computing nature, this has a history and an architectural overview. However, it has nothing on the various major versions that were released, though it does have information on specific vulnerabilities.
- Accuracy & Verifiability
- I wrote the article, but I believe it to be accurate. This is obviously not a good way of deciding on the accuracy of any article, however. We need to discuss how we determine accuracy! One suggestion I have is to make a list of every fact on the page, and find out what the source for that fact is.
- There are sources, though are there enough?
- Objectivity (Neutrality)
It got through FAC OK, and covers vulnerabilities and criticisms quite well. It also gives objective praise where it is due.
- Readibility
I'd say it's pretty readable. It did get through FAC OK - I think this metric is satisfied by a successful FAC nomination.
[edit] Optional criteria
The following criteria are important, but not strictly necessary for a stable version.
- Currency & comprehensiveness
Nothing on OS X.
