[edit] Statement of the dispute
[edit] Description
Silverhorse, previously editing under many anonymous IPs generally starting with 60.240 and 203.55, has a long history of disregarding Wikipedia standards on naming for British monarchs and subjects. He will change an article to match what some official British site says without any respect for what existed, or the reasons why. Numerous attempts to tell him of this go unfruitful. He recently registered an account, which is making his actions even worse, because now he is moving the articles around.

- ClemMcGann 12:16, 14 August 2005 (UTC). On many 'royal' pages Silverhorse insists on saying 'King x became King ...'. You can't be a King until you ascend to the throne. see history of Charles_II_of_England, Charles_I_of_England, James_I_of_England and many similar 'royal pages'. He changes Habsburg to Hapsburg [9].
- Bishonen | talk 22:50, 17 August 2005 (UTC). It's very frustrating to try to get Silverhorse to reply, discuss, or justify his versions. He seems determined not to respect consensus, or even the very notion of a Wikipedia style.
- StanZegel 13:33, 18 August 2005 (UTC) Now we have Victoria of the United Kingdom having her personal family name confused with the dynastic family name.

[edit] Royal House and Family Name
As for Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom the name of her family and Royal House is the same it is Hanover not Wettin
As for King Edward VII and King George V of the United Kingdom their Royal House and surname was House of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha it was change to Windsor in 1917 i ask why is some forcing Wettin in to the mix.
