This system is to prevent users who seem like they will not be a suitable Checkuser clerk from becoming one. If you are interested in being a clerk list yourself here and if you are accepted you will be contacted. List yourself with the {{user6b}} template, and add this to the bottom of the list.
A current Checkuser Clerk may review requests and accept users. Clerks should be careful when making a decision if a user should be a Clerk or not.
After a user is accepted they will be put on a 1 week trial period. If they do a good job clerking then they will be added to the list of active Clerks (See WP:RFCU/C). Users on trial will be listed on the bottom of the section.
