2 new apparently related users (Kollynn, Draioicht) showed up tag-teaming in a discussion in Talk:List of micronations, and Kollynn editing Micronation, which is odd; they have some overlapping prior edit patterns as well. Suspect meatpuppet or sock, but the primary issue is that they're either very ignorant (possible) or borderline trolling the Micronation articles, and Gene Poole (talk · contribs) and former Centauri (talk · contribs), which is an attack pattern Wik has done before (see Micronation article history, Category:Suspected Wikipedia sockpuppets of Wik, , etc.
Talk:List of micronations discussion with Kollynn and Draioicht, so adding them to the request.
just arrived and joined in theDocbp87 seems to have made a number of trolling edits including Micronation yesterday, and some vandalism to Carl Sagan and Caucasian Albania. Cythe added a nonsense micronation two days ago.
It's not like we don't get random non-notable entries in those articles, but the volume spiked up all of a sudden, and the pattern looks like a possible Wik infestation. Proper attention required to determine if these are newbies to keep being nice to or trolls returning which need to be banned. Georgewilliamherbert 04:06, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
- Clerk note: Moved from Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Kollynn to Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Wik, to match what appears to be the oldest listed (and banned) account. Luna Santin 04:19, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
- Confirmed in part, Unrelated mostly. Kollyn and Draoicht share an IP. The others are unrelated as far as IP analysis can determine. (Wik, of course, is too stale to do anything with.) --jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 04:20, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
- Can a CU operator with prior Wik experience / notes review the Wik connection angle? Thank you. Georgewilliamherbert 04:23, 31 January 2007 (UTC)
