[1] User was blocked for a 3RR violation, but the page keeps getting reverted by anonymous IP's. The page has been canvassed on an Japanese BBS so all IP's are not necessarily Vml132f, but I wouldn't be surprised if at least one is. Mackan 08:37, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
222 and 58 are Unlikely. 203 is Possible. Dmcdevit·t 09:46, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you. Exactly what does "possible" mean though? Are we talking some kind of percentage here, like, in the 30%-70% range of probability or something like that? Mackan 13:45, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
- It's not about probability, it's about, well, possibility. In general, there are some situations where it is deceptive to say "unrelated," which implies CheckUser shows them to be different. One example is where there is the same geographical location, but different IPs. (A common tactic is to use different account at school, home, work, etc., so they look like distinct editors.) Possible means an admin should make a judgment call. Dmcdevit·t 03:14, 22 April 2007 (UTC)
