[edit] Marechiel

During deleting of comments made by suspected puppet (IP addresses range) of user Velebit this user has started action against me on Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism in which he has confirmed that he use first 2 of this IP address ([1] )

I have asked original checkuser of Velebit case to look this situation because he is having old data.--Rjecina (talk) 12:11, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

Editorial style of user Marechiel is very similar to style of Velebit. His only edits are edit warring about Croatia-Serbia related problems. In his case he is edit warring to change in articles nationality of famous writers, scientist or similar persons from ex Yugoslavia--Rjecina (talk) 12:15, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
"His only edits are edit warring about Croatia-Serbia related problems." Well, oh surprise surprise, I am from Serbia, and I like to read about distinguished people from my region in Wikipedia, and I find it shocking and outrageous that famous Serbs from this region are being presented (in the intro) as Croats, Serbo-Croats or their nationality is being deleted. I do NOT change the nationalities of anyone, and in all my edits (most notably in the articles of Nikola Tesla, Mihajlo Pupin, Josif Pancic, Mesa Selimovic etc.) I have elaborated why I made them, and tried to present actual facts. The thing is that we're dealing with a case of mutatio elenchi here. Someone has been removing Serbian references from famous Serbs born outside contemporary Serbian borders, and presenting them as Croats, Bosniaks etc. 79.101.65.24 (talk) 10:06, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
For the end I like to point to statement of Marechiel in which he has been saying about his use of multiple IP (he has confirmed 2) for editing wikipedia so there is no question that we need to check this user.--Rjecina (talk) 07:04, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
Adding IP 79.101.183.65 because user has declared that this is his IP [2]--Rjecina (talk) 07:40, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
It is not the "use of multiple IP's" Mr Smart. IP addresses are obtained dynamically from Telekom Srbija's Internet provider, and I have repeated it several times. Since you seem not to know what a dynamical IP address is, it means that I obtain a new one from the IP-pool every time I turn my computer on. And I find it outrageous that I am put into situation of defending myself from this absurd accusations. I repeat that not only am I not this Velebit-person, but also I don't have a clue neither who he is, or what this fuss is all about. It strikes me more that Rjecina is displaying a pattern he's been using to revert edits or delete user comments. I am not exaggerating when I say that this identity situation is greatly annoying me. Especially having this pest Rjecina on my neck deleting my contribs and constantly addressing me in insulting and disrespectful manner. 79.101.65.24 (talk) 10:06, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
Bah, it seems again I wasn't logged in. Feel free to add the above IP as well to your Sherlock Holmes notebook. Of course, if any other user happens to log with this IP in some time, instantly ban him since it is "obvious" that he couldn't be any other person other than me... </sarcasm> Marechiel (talk) 10:11, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
Clerk note: case merged with Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Velebit -- lucasbfr talk 16:44, 10 April 2008 (UTC)
  • Marechiel is Unrelated. Thatcher 11:48, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
What does that mean? And do I get any official apology for being deleted, insulted and being associated with trolish and disruptive behavior solely because of the country my IP comes from? May I remind you that this "Rjecina" above is still deleting my input commenting that I am "a banned user"? Marechiel (talk) 21:59, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Velebit

Users Guivon and Votec are forever bloked sockpuppets of user Velebit which has been blocked. Aroung 10 days after "user:Guivon" has become blocked we are having new user under name user:Votec which is doing similar stuff to blocked users or saying simple he is editing how Croats are bad and how Serbs are victims using like source wartime Serbian propaganda. User:Votec is WP:SPA account !! Rjecina 23:51, 5 September 2007 (UTC)

Please notice editing of 5 september between 18:00-18:30. User:Velebit has made log in and deleted discussion page and 15 minutes after that User:Votec has made log in. Rjecina 15:03, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

A lot to talk about here. Please see also Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Giovanni Giove. I should also note that I have been involved in investigating Velebit, NovaNova and Guivon on this wiki and elsewhere, as a result of requests from other checkusers already. Others have requested and run various checks too. Velebit, Guivon, and NovaNova have already been marked as sockpuppets, or suspected sockpuppets of each other, along with GiorgioOrsini. Nothing in my investigations would counterindicate that..

But we knew all that... the new identities here are Votek and the two 212 IPs

  • Votek is Unrelated to Velebit, et al.
  • 212.200.198.125 is Unrelated to be related Velebit, et al... also unrelated to Votek
  • 212.200.198.33 is Unrelated to Velebit, et al... also unrelated to Votek

I agree that Votek's editing is at best, odd. I'd consider it disruptive, and very SPA-ish. but I'm not seeing the connection. There is more than one person with an ax to grind in this area, I am sure. ++Lar: t/c 00:59, 15 September 2007 (UTC)
