[edit] Usman Farooq

Usman Farooq has been indef-blocked as a result of MaverickInUrFace posting personal attacks and signing them "Usman". Usman Farooq states that this is not a sock puppet and that Usman is a common name. Evidence at Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Usman Farooq is circumstantial only. Please checkuser so I can lift the block if this user is innocent. Thanks. Guy 08:13, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

Like I said, he has been indef-blocked (by another admin), and challenges the block ({{unblock}}) stating that the other account is not a sock. I listed this request so that if the checkuser is inconclusive he can be unblocked. Since I was not the blocking admin I do not have the evidence ortiginally used to block, this is not a fishing expedition it's a good faith attempt to help a blocked user and since I'm looking to establish innocence not guilt I did not think I would need to jump through too many hoops. Declined If you don't believe the block is justified by the available evidence after discussion with the blocking admin, you may unblock at your discretion. The Uninvited Co., Inc. 18:12, 4 October 2006 (UTC)
