Both the users are new accounts. Siddiqui had no wikicontact with AliHussain. Yet the minute AliHussain gets an account he posts to Siddiqui saying that he will "do the best he can",^[1] addressing Siddiqui by name. Thus, it is conceivable to imagine it is either a meatpuppet or a sockpuppet of Siddiqui with a smokescreen post. Similarly, HamzaOmar also gets a post from Siddiqui.^[2] There is an issue with these users on ANI right now where details about their tag-team edit-warring and tendentious editing are illustrated.^[3]

The same thing took place earlier on History of Pakistan with all three accounts. Siddiqui makes a tendentious edit. Both AliHussain and HamzaOmar immediately converge upon the article to "revert-guard" it

The article History of Pakistan is now protected due to edit-warring. It would be great if a checkuser could see if these users are socks so they could be blocked appropriately and the article can be unprotected so that people can improve it. Rumpelstiltskin223 06:25, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

Clerk note: I've one a lot of formatting to this request, because it was barely comprehensible before, as well as finding some new "evidence" regarding 3RR on other articles. I posted this to ANI as well. Confirmed Siddiqui (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser), ArsalanKhan (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser), and HamzaOmar (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser) are all on the same shared IP range in Canada, so sockpuppetry seems likely, though they are at least friends or sharing computers or something. AliHussain is in the same city, though on a different ISP, so the connection is less certain, but meatpuppetry is still possible. Dmcdevit·t 01:45, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
