(Original WP:AE posting)
"It is suspected that User:BryanFromPalatine, aka User:Neutral Good, aka User:Shibumi2, is back again as Wakedream (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser). His various comments began to draw concern, especially after threads at User_talk:Wakedream#Prior_account and User_talk:Jehochman#NPOV_and_Waterboarding. Wakedream edited random articles on December 17 2007, but since March 8 2008 has waded into waterboarding with language and arguments similar to the advocacy of BFP and NG. His extremely negative reaction to Jehochman's simple question here also set off warning alarms. Lawrence § t/e 13:06, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
- Unrelated to Neutral Good; this is a different sockpuppeteer and it is a very deep rabbit hole. File this as an RFCU and ping Raul654 to look at it; I will pick it up after work if its not done by then. Thatcher 13:43, 13 March 2008 (UTC)"
- Note: The master account is Scibaby (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · block user · block log). These accounts are all using the same multiple overlapping IPs. However, they are probably proxies from www.anonymizer.com and may not be all the same user, so please evaluate the contributions and give editors the benefit of the doubt. (We can ding them later if we have to.)
- High confidence
- Less confidence

- I have blocked the most recently used IPs. They seem to move in waves; a number is used by several users for maybe 24 hours, then all the users move to a new number. I don't know if the old numbers are still active proxies for the company and if they will rotate around to them again, or not, so I'm not sure how far back to go. Thatcher 01:34, 14 March 2008 (UTC)
Clerk assistance required: Merge with Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Scibaby please. Thatcher 01:35, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

Code letter: F (block log of master account)
Scibaby is a prolific sockpuppeteer with a signature style and an interest in global warming. Fly Me Courageous (talk · contribs) is the latest clearly non-new user to match his MO. I'm filing this request both for technical confirmation (though the quacking is pretty loud), but also to save time down the road and identify any other sleepers, as Scibaby socks tend to come in bunches. Thank you - MastCell Talk 19:15, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
- Confirmed - Scibaby looks to have a brand-new ISP, so the old rangeblocks will no longer be of use here. Only one account so far, though - Alison ❤ 00:07, 22 February 2008 (UTC)

- Unnatural gas (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser)
- Bacteriophage (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser)
- Code letter: G
- Supporting evidence: User:Scibaby / User:Obedium has been operating numerous confirmed socks. It appears User:Bacteriophage is yet another per WP:DUCK (same style, many of the same edits) but another user is contesting the identification. Would appreciate confirmation by checkuser to allay doubts. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Raymond arritt (talk • contribs)
Clerk assistance required: - this case submission is really broken. I've done my best to fix it here, but it's still not right re. headers and stuff. Can someone more experienced maybe sort it out, please? Thanks! - Alison ❤ 23:39, 28 December 2007 (UTC)
- Clerk note: did what I saw, if someone seems more, let me know. — Rlevse • Talk • 02:12, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

- Obedium (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser)
- Code letter: E
Both User: Scibaby and User:Obedium repeatedely insert the same unsourced and/or misrepresented material into James Hansen. Five examples:
- 02:59, 24 September 2007 Scibaby
- 14:18, 24 September 2007 Scibaby
- 15:32, 24 September 2007 Obedium
- 21:53, 24 September 2007 Obedium
- 22:05, 24 September 2007 Obedium
I checked both users contribution histories and found:
- Both accounts were created in summer 2006
- User: Obedium has only ever edited 4 articles: Nanotechnology, F. Albert Cotton, Manuel Real and James Hansen. User:Scibaby has edited the same eclectic list (and very few more).

Is a check actually needed here? Per WP:DUCK Declined as obvious. If the material's insertion is disruptive (you tried talk and didn't get anywhere) block both IDs for revert warring even if neither ID by itself violated 3RR (which after all is a bright line, not an entitlement) ++Lar: t/c 10:04, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
