[edit] OscarJuan

  • Code letter: G
  • Supporting Evidence
    • 1) 15:27, March 20, 2008 (OscarJuan makes un-researched claims on the MP3 talk page) (Edit summary:"")
    • 2) 11:40, March 22, 2008 {Roberto miller agreeing with OscarJuan) (Edit Summary: "")
    • 3) 19:31, April 12, 2008 {OscarJuan posting external link and making un-researched claims) (Edit Summary: "I improve the article with a new reference to the work done in Argentina")
    • 4) 15:54, April 13, 2008 {Roberto miller reverts and agrees with OscarJuan) (Edit Summary: "I restore the OscarJuan work because is well supported by areference to an acredited international AES Journal paper (is the best reference of this page")

Explanation: It appears that OscarJuan is using a Roberto miller account only for one purpose: to create a false general consensus. Their contribution history and editing pattern are almost identical in style and the chronography of their activities is highly suspicious. This user is most likely violating WP rules to achieve his goals at the MP3 and History_of_sound_recording. Also, a problem with WP:COI is obvious as well [1]. We should stop him from continuing these sort of activities. Thanks for your attention. Evinatea (talk) 18:08, 14 April 2008 (UTC)

OscarJuan Reply

Your comment about the OscarJuan account and the Roberto Miller is not correct. I do not understand the correct meaning of the strange word you are using. But if you suggest that we are the same person you are wrong. I am professor at the University of Buenos Aires and Dr Miller is teaching at the same University. In both cases our native language is Spanish (that is probably the reason that maybe our writings looks similar in English) And both are defending the Research work that we do at University. Is it against the wikipedia rules ? Please let me know. OscarJuan (talk) 02:22, 17 April 2008 (UTC)OscarJuanOscarJuan (talk) 02:22, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

Using 2 accounts to revert and to create a consensus to prove your point of view, is not acceptable and is against policy. Even even if you were telling the truth, WP considers friends or work associates "meatpuppets", read WP:SOCK. Jrod2 (talk) 06:03, 17 April 2008 (UTC)
