This user has been involved in extended edit wars on Illinois Fighting Illini. Previous 3RR violations were reported and no action was taken. The user is now using an IP and a user name to start the edit war again. There is not yet a new 3RR violation, but the user has previously shown a clear lack of NPOV in relation to this topic on the talk page: [1] -- Upholder 21:12, 27 June 2007 (UTC)
- Comments: This could probably be changed to code E (3RR violation in spirit), but I'm not sure a checkuser is needed. It looks fairly obvious to me that we have a long-term WP:LAME edit war simmering at Illinois Fighting Illini. I think Upholder has not yet exhausted his non-checkuser options for resolving this, though I do support his stance. Shalom Hello 03:39, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

- I've tried everything I can think of in dealing with the edit wars on Illinois Fighting Illini and Illinois Fighting Illini men's basketball with this particular editor.. I've tried third opinion, I've tried editor assistance, I've reported him for 3RR, and I've asked an admin (User:BigDT) for his advice and this pattern of disruption goes as far back as April 2007. If there is something I've missed, I'd really like to know what it is. -- Upholder 05:35, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
