HyperColony appears to be a "straw man sock puppet" account for NotSarenne, the edit history of Special:Contributions/HyperColony shows remarkably similar editing style to Special:Contributions/NotSarenne. Fnagaton 20:58, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
- NotSarenne started using these IPs User talk:217.87.98.171 and User talk:217.87.99.127 first. Due to Sarenne using Tor and the suspected sock puppet page being edited by a Tor exit node please check back through the IP address history for NotSarenne and see if the user changed from using the IP address range of his ISP '217.87.0.0 - 217.89.23.255' to using Tor exit node IPs around the time "18:06, 2 November 2007". The reason I ask is that HyperColony may also be using Tor. If NotSarenne happened to start using Tor exit node IPs around the time HyperColony was created this would be a good indication the users are linked. Because the edits of NotSarenne and HyperColony are very close in terms of time periods then a single mistake by NotSarenne forgetting to logout of Tor will be shown in the IP logs. - First, I haven't used a Tor-Exit-Node in my whole life. However, as long as those two users are not using the same IP address as mine, you cannot prove anything at all. I'm not saying this to discourage you but to tell you that you are wasting your precious time trying to prove something which is not possible to prove because it is not reality. Since you even accuse me of using two straw men accounts, wouldn't you think that I'm smart enough to use different internet accounts (proxies or whatever) for each of them? Correlation does never prove anything. Do you understand this? --NotSarenne 21:59, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
There is no technical evidence connecting them. If you would like to have an administrator block on the basis of behavior, take it to WP:ANI or WP:SSP. Dmcdevit·t 22:06, 3 November 2007 (UTC)
