User:Lovelight is a banned user. Here the unlogged in Lovelight makes an edit using the 74.73.16.230 IP address. The rest of Lovelight's edits on April 13 are available here. Specifically, this sequence is telling [1][2][3][4][5]. Later this IP edits as SixOfDiamonds and admits it. SixOfDiamonds became SevenOfDiamonds See redirected page. SevenOfDiamonds edits with 69.201.147.240. Both the IPs are from the same location and from the same RoadRunner IP provider. Tbeatty 06:30, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
Lovelight -> 74.73.16.230 -> SixOfDiamonds -> SevenOfDiamonds -> 69.201.147.240 == Evading ban. IPs from same town and same IP provider. --Tbeatty 07:02, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
- It's certainly possible, but aren't RoadRunner quite a sizeable ISP with fairly dynamic IP address assignment, from my (limited) experience, RoadRunner is like the British ISP BT, where vandals can jump around from IP to IP simply by disconnecting and reconnecting, and like BT, have a sizeable customer base. - Roadrunner is the largest ISP in New York City, and only one of two in NYC. Most lines are pulled through RR including AOL, NYConnect etc. The only other independant ISP that has its own lines in NYC I believe is Comcast, as even Earthlink routes through RR in NYC. A RFCU has not established 74 as Lovelight, I would like to see that first. --SevenOfDiamonds 15:09, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
A checkuser for 74 as Lovelight isn't needed. The conclusion is obvious from the evidence presented above. Theresa Knott | The otter sank 18:59, 15 August 2007 (UTC)- Thank you for rescinding, I am kind of surprised at this whole RFCU business and how its been used to violate my privacy. Further that a single edit such as that would be seen as "proof" of anything. --SevenOfDiamonds 19:38, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Response
Lovelight is not 74.73, it is me before I registered, just building on what another user did, its a pretty bad attempt to link me to yet another user. Feel free to check the 74 IP against myself and then against Lovelight, the 69 is myself from the internet cafe as admitted on the RFA for Crockspot. I would like to note this same group of buddies, MONGO, Aude, TBeatty, have now accused me of being 5 different users, possibly 6 now, I am losing count. I would like this fishing and abuse of personal information to cease. You can see prior accusations: Accused of being Giovanni33 and Bmedley Sutler, also accused of being Rootology on the talk page there. Accused of being Rootology officially & Fairness And Accuracy For All I have been accused of being 3 other users I believe now without RFCU, including TheDeciderDecides just yesterday by Crockspot. I ask this fishing of my personal information cease and these attacks. Thank you. --SevenOfDiamonds 14:38, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

- I never accused you of being TheDeciderDecides. I've been convinced for about a month who TDD is, and it isn't you. - Crockspot 23:09, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
- I have never accused you of being a sockpuppet before or any other user before and I think this evidence is pretty strong. --Tbeatty 15:19, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
- That I added more rappers to a list that Lovelight edited? Wow in depth. As I stated the person who handles this should first look at your "friends" attacks on me in the form of RFCU's, then do a RFCU against LoveLight and the 74 IP. Which I am sure would prove Lovelight is not 74, since I was the 74 edit. --SevenOfDiamonds 15:24, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
- I have no "friends" or "cabals" on Wikipedia. I edit independantly based on what I believe is best for the project. The fact that so many editors seem to think you are sockpuppet of a banned user seems to speak more about you than of them. --Tbeatty 23:57, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
- When you use " it means a quote. Noone said cabal, as the two words are not interchangeable. Anyway I accept your apology. --SevenOfDiamonds 00:24, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
- Your admission of trolling notwithstanding, I quoted "cabals" to offset it as a word isolated within a separate grammatical context. Since grammar is not your strong suit, I'll chalk it up to ignorance and not malevolence. No apology necessary. --Tbeatty 03:36, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

- And you just called me a troll? Your bitterness at your failed accusation is showing. Do not apologize and then act like ... well rude. Your apology is still accepted, do not worry I have taken this page off watch, so whatever comments your apparent error lead you to will not affect my view on you. --SevenOfDiamonds 10:12, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

This request can be closed by a clerk, as Unrelated and Stale. I know what IPs (and geographic location) that Lovelight edited from, which were revealed previously, and they are not a match for SevenOfDiamonds or the IP address in question. Also, Lovelight hasn't edited since May 1, so the request would also be stale. It would probably be improper for me to close this request, but a clerk should do so. --Aude (talk) 17:22, 15 August 2007 (UTC)
