[edit] Kzrulzuall

  • Code letter: G.

Kzrulzuall created the account User:Sp3001, the user page of 3001 indicate it as a sockpuppet of User:Sp3000.. but it was created by Kzr., User:Sp3000 nominated Kzr. for adminship today.. I believe all three are the same user. Matthew 09:36, 13 April 2007 (UTC)

Comment - I apologize for putting my comment at the top, but I think this editor would perhaps change their mind if it is explained why the Sp3001 is not a WP:SOCK. A sock is fundamentally a tool of deception, the user name alone is obviously the same editor as Sp3000 but anyone who is not convinced can see for themselves on the former's user page. These are sockpuppets: Category:Suspected Wikipedia sockpuppets of The real Barbara Schwarz, alternate accounts created by a banned user to evade the ban. Under the policy it says that WP:SOCK Declared alternate accounts are acceptable. Anynobody 11:13, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
Comment - This is my ip (Kzrulzuall) when logged out. --144.136.110.243 10:31, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
As a further note, me and Sp3000 are from the same educational facility, so I am pretty sure that we will probably have one same ip in the list. --144.136.110.243 10:32, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
The ip above is me... --KZTalkContribs 10:34, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
Comment -
    1. Kzrulzuall created 3001 since the educational facility's library's computers cannot handle JavaScripts, possibly due to proxies. As the IP 61.88.131.146 was blocked, Kzrulzuall helped me create the account.
    2. 3001's page states that "Since public computers can have password-stealing trojans or keyloggers installed, some users may use an alternate account when editing under these conditions in order to prevent the hijacking of their main accounts." as another reason why that account exists - this is stated as a legitimate use in WP:SOCK
    3. Kzrulzuall stated that he wanted me to nominate him for RfA on April 10 - but as I was at a friend's place, I was unable to start the RfA. I only returned late last night (timezone +10) so I was only able to create the RfA today. --The preceding comment was signed by User:Sp3000 (talkcontribs) 11:03, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
    4. The most important connection is that, strangely enough, we are "best" friends and worst enemies at different times, and we know each other in real life. I personally believes that Kzrulzuall likes to copy me - his account was created around a week or 2 after mine in an attempt to beat me in edit counts (he has a competitve nature). --The preceding comment was signed by User:Sp3000 (talkcontribs) 11:03, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
Comment -
Hope an unsolicited, third party comment on this is OK (saw a link here from the talk page of an RfA I was voting on) - but this appears to be a baseless allegation. It would appear the editing patterns of SP3000 and KZ are vastly different, their foci are on different articles/areas of the encyclopaedia, although it's in no doubt that they know each other offline. The log which the original complaint links to (under "created") notes: "No matching items in log." Orderinchaos 05:33, 14 April 2007 (UTC)

This seems consistent with what the user said above. GracenotesT § 01:03, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
Apologies - may have been a bug, when I clicked on the link originally I got the above, but it now seems to be showing SP3001. Point struck. Orderinchaos 12:15, 15 April 2007 (UTC)

Unrelated. Kzrulzuall's explanation pans out. Mackensen (talk) 15:33, 16 April 2007 (UTC)
