I bring this request to you to accomplish 2 things. First, the Category:Suspected Wikipedia sockpuppets of James Ewing has existed with zero proof that any of the users are connected to James Ewing. In the case that checkuser turns up no connection I hope for the category to removed or renamed and if does show one to have James Ewing and any connected socks blocked or banned. The second reason is that would like to have the IP reasonable for the rash of new vandalism connected or disconnected to the socks. BJTalk 03:15, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
Clerk assistance required: If one of the clerks would please go through the list and remove those with no edits in the past month it would be greatly apprecaited. Essjay (Talk) 04:17, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
- Clerk note: The entire "Account and IPs previously thought to be socks of James Ewing" section was subject to removal per above; most didn't have edits, so presumably they were blocked for edits which are now-deleted. This was the case also for 207.210.117.188, of which the deleted state of the edits was noted by the requestee. All usernames that were removed due to this clerk request are now located on the talk page, or viewable in this oldid. Cheers, Daniel.Bryant 04:33, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
Declined. We have to have accounts to check against, and those accounts have to have edited within the last month in order for us to have any IP records for them. Since none of the accounts involved have edited within the last month, there is no data for us to pull, and no way for us to make any kind of investigation. Subsequent requests related to this user should be made above, in a new section.
