A new user who registered ten days ago who has since been aggressively edit warring, personal attacks, advanced knowledge of policy/tags, and straight out paranoia on creationist articles against consensus. With s/he's second edit and within 15 minutes of registering, already knew how to sign s/he username.
Show a remarkable knowledge of tags and policies with 7 days of editing. Interestingly, these edit go against a long decided consensus.
This user accuses others of being socks, but refuses to answer if s/he has had previous accounts.
Some long standing admin/editors are going to seek an RfC for this user, and have condemned this users behavior. Visit User talk:ImprobabilityDrive for a instructive display of what's going on.
This checkuser will prove socks or vindicate the user for the ImprobabilityDrive RfC as well as 3RR rules. Arbustoo 15:50, 2 May 2007 (UTC)
- I suspect this user is likely a sockpuppet of banned user User:Benapgar. JoshuaZ 01:54, 3 May 2007 (UTC)
- Refile
- ImprobabilityDrive changed the IP signature from 65.73.81.131 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · block user · block log) to his username and confirmed this was his here (and again today).
- All of the IP sockpuppets of VacuousPoet logged on through Frontier Communications, Rochester, NY. Please see Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/VacuousPoet (2nd) for those sockpuppets.
- VacuousPoet is a banned user for sockpuppetry, and who was also a sockpuppet of another banned user Kdbuffalo.
- user:Gnixon ended his editing of various Evolution and Creation articles at the same time as User:ImprobabilityDrive began his. See Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/VacuousPoet (3rd)
- Likely that ImprobabilityDrive is VacuousPoet based upon the information provided. Gnixon seems unrelated. --jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 03:16, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
- Indeed, I am not ImprobabilityDrive. Could someone clarify what evidence indicates ImprobabilityDrive is VacuousPoet? I can't find it, and ID has claimed (see his talk page) that he is not VP. (Related comment: I'm a little amused by how impressed people are that a newly-registered user found the 4 tildes within a few minutes, and found tags within a week. It seems clear ID was editing under just an IP address for awhile, as I'd imagine is true for most new users.) Gnixon 06:31, 7 May 2007 (UTC)

- It does not matter what he did or didn't do, how fast he learned how to put in a signature, or if he was you or not. The checkuser showed that he was a sockpuppet of several banned editors, including VacuousPoet, who himself was a sockpuppet of the banned Kdbuffalo. ID's comments to the contrary aren't relevant, and given the checkuser finding, his claims are probably lies. Since you are SO aware of Wiki procedures, I'm pretty certain you already knew this. - JP said "based upon the information provided." I'm just asking whether he used information beside what's available to me here, since I can't see any proof on this page that ID=VP. Is there information from some checkuser somewhere that's also being used? Gnixon 19:40, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
