[edit] Girl Get it

  • Supporting evidence: ITCYL (talk · contribs), Brexx's last confirmed block-evading sock, was confirmed and blocked yesterday. L.LOLP started editing today and, again, only Mariah Carey related articles. After yesterday's confirmation that ITCYL was Brexx, I reverted all of his/her edits on I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time. L.LOLP's second edit today was reverting that particular edit of mine. SWik78 (talkcontribs) 12:52, 12 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Girl Get it

  • Supporting evidence: J.s.a.s. (talk · contribs), the last confirmed block-evading sockpuppet of banned user Brexx (talk · contribs) was blocked on June 9 after several days of editing. ITCYL has started editing on June 11 and, so far, has only edited the articles that have been edited by J.s.a.s. Brexx and his sockpuppets often insert many direct quotes into articles, especially sections that have to do with album reviews and critical responses. ITCYL has made this edit where he/she inserted multiple quotes into the Critical reception section of the I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time article. These are the same quotes that J.s.a.s. inserted here, here, here, and here into the same section of the same article. SWik78 (talkcontribs) 13:10, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
  • Confirmed, blocked, tagged. I'm looking into doing another rangeblock. Sam Korn (smoddy) 13:55, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
    • That might be very helpful. Thanks! SWik78 (talkcontribs) 14:06, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Girl Get it

  • Supporting evidence: Same as the 4 previously confirmed cases, this suspected sockpuppet of banned user Brexx (talk · contribs) is editing articles related to Mariah Carey's new album as well as article related to Lindsay Lohan. One of the major points of contention in recent times (besides the ongoing copyright and BLP violations) is a dispute between Brexx's socks and other editors over whether or not it is appropriate to include an episode recap for episodes that haven't aired yet on Living Lohan. J.s.a.s. has inserted another episode recap here. Also, this edit is very similar to this edit by previously confirmed sock FSFS (talk · contribs) in the fact that both accounts, immediately after registering, asked that an edit be performed on their behalf on a semi-protected article, knowing that IPs and newly registered accounts are unable to do so. Both of those edits also exhibit the same writing style as was outlined in Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Brexx. SWik78 (talkcontribs) 17:59, 9 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Girl Get it

  • Supporting evidence: Sockpuppeteer Brexx's last known block evading puppet OOC OCD (talk · contribs) was blocked on May 29 after checkuser confirmed the relationship between these accounts. FSFS started editing on May 31 and, so far, all of the edits have been on Lindsay Lohan related articles which was the primary focus for OOC OCD. Anonymous IP editor 209.247.22.164 (talk · contribs) and OOC OCD had a dispute in the Living Lohan article over whether or not the article should contain episode recaps of episodes that didn't air yet. OOC OCD has reverted edits of the IP editor in this regard without any discussion or an edit summary and FSFS has done the same:
  • [1] - revert of 209.247.22.164 by OOC OCD on Living Lohan regarding episode recaps of episodes that have not yet aired
  • [2] - revert of 209.247.22.164 by FSFS on Living Lohan regarding episode recaps of episodes that have not yet aired.

Thank you! SWik78 (talkcontribs) 14:30, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

....and blocked. Tiptoety talk 22:55, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Girl Get it

  • Supporting evidence: Sockpuppeteer Brexx's last known block evading puppet RIHANNA RELOADED (talk · contribs) was indef blocked on May 21 after an RFCU confirmed the two accounts are used by the same editor. OOC OCD's account was created the very next day and, so far, every article OOC OCD has edited has already been edited by RIHANNA RELOADED, Girl Get it, Agent999 and other proven Brexx socks. In addition, the most incriminating piece of evidence is the fact that on May 25 OOC OCD was caught in an autoblock of IP 213.42.23.71.
  • [3] - diff of the autoblock notification

The first RFCU for Brexx/Girl Get it confirmed that Brexx operates from a dynamic IP in the range 213.42.x.x.

Same as Brexx had done before, the last confirmed indef blocked puppet, RIHANNA RELOADED, confessed to sockpuppetry here. SWik78 (talkcontribs) 13:14, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

Confirmed - all of the above as socks of Girl Get it (talk · contribs) - Alison 18:48, 29 May 2008 (UTC)
Clerk note: Blocked... Tiptoety talk 02:12, 30 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Girl Get it

In addition, several socks confirmed in the below case have edited episode articles of the TV show Desperate Housewives. RIHANNA RELOADED has made edits to these Desperate Housewives episode articles:

Another distinctive feature is the format of written text exhibited by Brexx and his sockpuppets which was explained in detail at Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Brexx. The style of writing by RIHANNA RELOADED on this and this edit fits that profile.

Brexx is on a dynamic IP so it's fairly easy for him to create new acocunts once a previous one has been blocked. He is not shy to admit to sockpuppetry as can be evidenced by this unblock request he made on his original account. SWik78 (talkcontribs) 13:23, 16 May 2008 (UTC)

Confirmed - the following:
  1. Girl Get it (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · block user · block log)
  2. RIHANNA RELOADED (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · block user · block log)
  3. Agent999 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · block user · block log)
Likely - the following:
  1. HIMYM (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · block user · block log)

[edit] Girl Get it

  • Supporting evidence: The main focus of interest for Brexx and his socks has been Mariah Carey related articles, most specifically the article E=MC² (Mariah Carey album)‎ and articles related to it. Ocassional interest has been shown towards The Sims as well as Desperate Housewives. Brexx has a very distinctive writing style that was detailed in Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Brexx and I believe that, in addition to editing the same group of articles, Girl Get It exhibits some of the same patterns of written text as Brexx does. Although Girl Get It doesn't seem to have participated in talk page or user page conversations since starting editing Wikipedia, on April 30, Girl's style of writing edit summaries can be compared to evidence in the sockpuppetry case:

In addition, User talk:Girl Get it is starting to look very similar to the talk pages of all the other confirmed socks in terms non-free media warnings and notices.

I believe Girl Get it (talk · contribs) is a sockpuppet account of banned User:Brexx. Brexx's ban is a result of block evading sockpuppetry that was first proven at Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Brexx and the blocks were initially given out due to persistent and blatant copyright violations. Brexx and his/her socks are likely on a dynamic IP that's shared by other users as well. SWik78 (talkcontribs) 18:15, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
