User:Lucky number 49 explained the problem in great detail at Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Freya Worshiper. He requested a checkuser on that page. The short version is that Freya Worshiper was indef-blocked on June 24 (see block log), and the suspected sockpuppets have edited the same articles to the same effect.
