[edit] EvilAlex

  • Code letter: E

User:EvilAlex has, on a daily basis, gamed Wikipedia by going to the 3RR limit on Transnistria. This started on 28 March 2007. When he reaches the limit, he disappears and instead the reverts are done by anonymous IPs which all seem to come from AOL in Great Britain, with the exception of one which appears to be a Tor in Russia. EvilAlex lives in Great Britain but is originally from the ex-Soviet Union and he speaks Russian. The edits by these anon IPs, as well as their edit log summaries, are similar to edis and summaries by EvilAlex and is used to engage in edit warring. This user is a selfconfessed edit warrior. He has been blocked for edit warring in the past. After his block, he started using anon IPs to breach 3RR. Evidence of breaching 3RR:

16:24, 28 March 2007; 22:32, 28 March 2007; 22:44, 28 March 2007; 12:19, 29 March 2007; 21:08, 30 March 2007; 21:09, 30 March 2007; 15:09, 31 March 2007; 21:52, 31 March 2007; 22:19, 31 March 2007; 22:27, 31 March 2007; 23:05 31 March 2007.

Note: These DIFFs are merely samples. There are numerous more in the history log for Transnistria[1]. - Mauco 23:15, 31 March 2007 (UTC)

  • Unnecessary. Besides, the 172. things are all AOL. --jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 23:36, 31 March 2007 (UTC)
