I have reasons to believe User:Devanampriya in using anon. accounts to prevail in an edit-war in Maurya Empire and other related ancient India articles, and break the WP:3RR without being seen. After reverting all of his edits, anon 170.251.249.66 (talk · contribs) reverts each of them straight back to the edits of user Devanampriya. Plus his mannerisms and insults are identical, why else would an anon attack me with the exact same phrases in contrast to just pointing out my error whilst remaining civil?

Also anon 207.229.183.131 (talk · contribs) appears to be Devanampriya as he also uses the same mannerisms and uncivility in regards to his edit summaries. Also his edits are identical to those shown above. ([[User:Giani g|Giani g]] 18:18, 27 September 2007 (UTC))

More than estabilishing a 3RR I'm trying to get an awnser if Devanampriya is attempting to use multiple accounts to strengthen his position in debate and edit wars. What makes me extremely suspicious that while they claim to be different persons [1], Windy City Dude (talk · contribs), which I had already found a highly suspicious account, has reemerged only on September 16 after having been dormant since February, exactly when Devanampriya had exhausted his reverts. Also Devanampriya (talk · contribs) too had been inactive, to return only on September 15, the day before User:Windy City Dude, both adressing the same article, Indo-Greek Kingdom‎. For this please I would like a checkuser control, to see if my suspicions that Devanampriya is using socks despite his claims are correct.--Aldux 17:37, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

I have reasons to believe User:Devanampriya in using anon. accounts to prevail in an edit-war in Ashoka and Maurya Empire, and break the WP:3RR without being seen. In all these accounts, except for User:170.252.248.195 and User:216.119.140.73, in other articles he identified himself at least once as "Devanampriya". In Maurya Empire with his IP's included he reverted six times in 24h, and six also in Ashoka. As for User:Pavanapuram, I suspect he may be a sock; born only today, he espouses Devanampriya position, and may have been created to give a stronger appearance of support to his ideas; but I'm not sure, as he could also be the incarnation of an editor before anon. Don't take this bad, but can I insist just a little? I need the results in case he tries to circumvent the policy again, and his anons aren't exactly throw away, so he wopuld probably use the same. I can't comment on the anonymous IPs, so all you're left with is a check on Pavanapuram against Devanampriya. Mackensen (talk) 10:52, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
