[edit] Dead velvet elvis

  • Code letter: F

Rogue Gremlin, who got into a revert war with JerryGraf on Hugh Hefner, ended up getting blocked for three months when it was discovered he had set up Posah-tai-vo as a sock to evade the three revert rule. Just after the IP block would have ended, Dead velvet elvis turned up to make a three revert rule report against JerryGraf, as his second ever edit. He clearly showed some interest in the history of the dispute. Dead velvet elvis hasn't perpetuated the edit war. I think Dead velvet elvis is a sock of Rogue Gremlin but I want a checkuser to confirm it before working out whether to extend Rogue Gremlin's block. Sam Blacketer 15:54, 4 October 2007 (UTC)

  • This may be academic as a comparison of the two user's edits left absolutely no doubt in my mind that these are the same person. I have therefore blocked Dead velvet elvis and reset Rogue Gremlin's block. I wouldn't object if anyone decided to extend it instead. Hopefully some passing checkuser can confirm I had it right. I added DevilN dSkyz to this. Based on edit pattern, it looks like the third Rogue Gremlin sock.JerryGraf 03:21, 8 October 2007 (UTC)
