[edit] Culverin

Culverin is suspected by two users as being the impostor who pretended to be me on User talk:Dfrg.msc when he/she allegedly posted this, using my signature, on Dfrg.msc's talk page. Culverin was in a dispute with me about three weeks ago, however this dispute died down thru some self-imposed bans on myself from responding to Culverin's comments. This dispute mainly took place around User talk:Dfrg.msc, where the impersonation messages were placed. Also, this user has a history of disruption connected with User talk:Dfrg.msc.

However, there are some interesting features here. Here is a timeline of the suspicious edits:

NOTE: Culverin didnt post anything between 20:04 and 21:44, when his alleged sockpuppets were in operation. Listed below is every single edit in this time frame between 20:04 and 21:44 for the four users - no edits have been omitted.

20:04, September 13, 2006 User:Culverin Posts test on talk page
20:06, September 13, 2006 User:Daniel.Bryant must die Personal attacks, blocked indef
20:10, September 13, 2006 User:Dgds First of three personal attack edits, with impersonation using my signature
20:11, September 13, 2006 User:Dgds Second of three personal attack edits, with impersonation using my signature
20:12, September 13, 2006 User:Dgds Third of three personal attack edits, with impersonation using my signature - blocked after this
20:17, September 13, 2006 User:Krondor$ First of three impersonation edits using my signature
20:19, September 13, 2006 User:Krondor$ Second of three impersonation edits using my signature
21:41, September 13, 2006 User:Krondor$ Third of three impersonation edits using my signature - blocked after this
21:44, September 13, 2006 User:Culverin Talks to another user, see below

Also, look at the similarities between this edit and the impersonation ones by User:Krondor$ above - the same poor grammar, and most interestingly, the break between the signature, which I never ever do.

Any more information you may require, just ask me. Daniel.Bryant 07:27, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

Are we really going to do a check user for evidence like this against me! Why should my reputaion be blackend by this? How can a bloody Signature indent make me a vandal? How can a bloody time period make me a vandal? do you know how many millions of users were on and logged of at that time! I ask this again. Why me? Culverin ? Talk 08:19, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
Yes. Why should you be worried - you have vehermontly denied it is you. Your IP won't be revealed, so there is no chance of privacy problems. And don't change the format of things above this comment, like you did last time you posted. Daniel.Bryant 08:23, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
Wow! I am as shocked as you, yes i did ask about page redirects. I should know but........... But i dont think it means i am the next willy!
I wrote jibberish on my page. Yeh i am a real willy on wheels now! Culverin ? Talk 09:07, 14 September 2006 (UTC
Where are you getting this mate! Culverin ? Talk 09:10, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
The content of the two posts on talk aren't the problem here, and you know it - stop trying to red herring us. And being a sockpuppet does not make you Willy on Wheels - he is only one sockpuppet, and unless you start page-moving vandalism, you will never be considered to be Whilly on Wheels, or even a sockpuppet of him. Us? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Culverin (talkcontribs)

"Us" as the general community. Please, just let the Checkuser run it's course, and if I was mistaken, you will recieve full apologies. I can assure you, your IP will not be revealed during this procedure, so there is no chance of your privacy being violated. Daniel.Bryant 09:42, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

Therefore, should Culverin be blocked for a short period of time (maybe 7 days) for his hideous personal attacks and impersonation of me? He did violate WP:SOCK by using them for vandalism and as abusive puppets. Daniel.Bryant 11:19, 14 September 2006 (UTC)

I didn't mean for this to happen! But thankyou all for your efforts and your leniency. I hope this is the end of it all. Dfrg.msc 1 . 2 . 3 21:59, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
